The Delhi 1 Regional Center of IGNOU was bifurcated into Delhi 1 and IGNOU Regional Center Delhi 2 and this new IGNOU Delhi 2 Regional Center covers North Delhi, North-East Delhi, East Delhi, and Central Delhi. IGNOU RC Delhi 2 initially began with 19 Study Centres. RC Delhi 2 of IGNOU has presently 54 Learner Support Centres (LSC) comprising 17 regular study centres, 20 programme study centres, 8 special study centres and one jail centre for jail inmates to provide academic support to learners.
