A new academic program called MA Master of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication has been launched by Indira Gandhi National Open University School of Journalism and New Media Studies (SOJNMS). this program has all the programs will be available in open and distance learning mode. Where the minimum duration of this course will be two years and the maximum duration will be 5 years. Also there is no it limit to apply for this Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication course at IGNOU. This course available from 2020 January cycle at IGNOU.

Eligibility: students who want to apply for this course will require a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university in India. The students should have access to computers, internet and should have basic knowledge of word processing.
Course Fee: The Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication at IGNOU which cost rupees 25000/- for both years. You can pay in installments of 12500/- Per Year. It should be noted that the scores is initially only being offered in English medium. letter on it will be translated to Hindi language and the program will also be available in Hindi medium after a while. But as of now for January 2020 session the Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication is available only in English language, both course and material.
