Over the years, IGNOU Hyderabad Regional Centre is emerging as one of the largest IGNOU Regional Centers in India with an enrolment crossing 2.0 lakh figure in 2020. Started with 5 Study Centres in 1987 and 546 students the IGNOU Hyderabad RC has reached 26 Study Centres / Programme Study Centres offering about 250 programmes launched by the University. Out of 26 Study Centres established in the State, 6 are regular Study Centres and 20 are Programme Study Centres.
The admission to all Diploma, Bachelor, Master or Certificate level IGNOU Programme is through a single admission window on IGNOU Hyderabad Regional Center Website. You will have to fill out the common admission form filled Online on the IGNOU website even to enroll in IGNOU Hyderabad Regional Center in either June or January, depending on when you are planning to enrol in IGNOU. Yes, IGNOU offers admission in two cycles – January and June, for all the courses. Presently the jurisdiction of RC-Hyderabad consists of : Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Medak, Nalgonda, Warangal, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Adilabad, Mahaboob Nagar and Khammam, thus catering to all the ten districts of newly formed Telangana State.
While filling the form, you will get the option to choose your Regional Center. Here you should choose Hyderabad Regional Center and you will be registered in this centre. You will after the admission process get a Study centre which will be a college in Hyderabad or nearby.

All the programs that are provided by IGNOU at Bachelors, Masters, PHD, Certificate or Diploma levels are regulated in the Hyderabad Regional Center of Indira Gandhi National Open University.
