The IGNOU Guwahati Regional Center was set up in 1996 with a total of 6 study centres and 35 programmes with approximately about 1100 learners. And in over the years, the IGNOU Regional Centre Guwahati has improved its presence and is now at 30 learner support centres, 525 academic counsellors and 78 academic programmes on offer.
