INDIRA GANDHI NATIONAL OPEN UNIVERSITY abbreviated as IGNOU is an open university which serves students by means of distance and open education. It was established in 1985 and was named after the former prime minister of India Indira Gandhi. Ignou is running its operations through a chain of Regional centers such as Kolkata, Andra Pradesh, Bihar, Telangana, Jammu, etc. but it’s headquarter is located in New Delhi, India. ADMISSION PROCEDURE: For the online admission in IGNOU firstly visit the website ignou.ac.in and click on the online admission form. After this, a new page will open where the students have to fill-up the form one by one and they have to submit their documents like a signature, picture, a report card of the old school, or college. Students can pay the fee via Debit or credit card, there’s also the facility of offline payment for those who don’t have online access. Students are provided with a registration number and pass at the time of form fill up which they need every time they log in.
EXAMINATION
Well, there is no facility for online examination yet , students have to sit for the offline examination. The examination center is decided by the regional head according to the comfort zone of students. They also provide study materials to the students which help students to score good marks . After the examination, the university also gave the results to the students and these report cards help students for any further studies.
