Fee to be paid for request of change in name in final certificate
If there is a minor mistake in name, father’s name or other details from University than students don’t need to pay any fees. But if they want to change name, surname or above mentioned details than they need to pay fee prescribed by IGNOU. Here are the fees details which student needs to pay with application.

How to change Surname after marriage in IGNOU name/address in Grade Card
- Download the Application Form and take a Print out from the link given below.
- Fill the Application Form as prescribed from blue or black ball point pen.
- If Fees is applicable (as per chart mentioned above) to be paid through Demand Draft (DD) in favour of ÏGNOU” & payable at New Delhi.
- The Duly filled application form with requisite fees and Documents needs to be sent to Registrar, SED, IGNOU Maidan Garhi, New Delhi 110068
Note:- The Student have to return their previous issued grade card/ Certificate etc. to IGNOU
