IGNOU Certificate course in Russian language is now available in both distance learning and open learning at IGNOU. The program objective is to help interested students to read, write, and speak the Russian language. This course will help interested students to apply the Russian language in their daily life. This course is conducted by School of Foreign Languages.
Where the minimum duration of this course will be 6 months and the maximum duration will be 2 years. Also there is no limit to apply for this certificate Russian course at IGNOU. This basic programme of 6 months and enrolled students will have to complete 20 credits in total.
There is a self learning phase with SLM’S and Audio visual round.
For applying in the examination each student has to pay RS 120 each for every examination. They can appear for the exam if they fail and have to pay RS 120.

Eligibility for certificate course in Russian language
Students who want to apply for this course just needs not much degree they should be of minimum age 18 and Class 10 level of English proficiency is desirable for this program.

How to apply for IGNOU Certificate in Russian Language?
The admission cycle at IGNOU takes place twice a year in the months of January and July where the end semester exams take place in May/June for the January cycle and December for the July cycle. This means that you can enroll for the certificate in the Russian language course in either January or July cycle.
The next stage is to register yourself and then fill up the application form along with all the required information and documents. Make sure that you take a print out of the application form and write down the application number somewhere for future reference.
Once your documents are checked and accepted by IGNOU admission will be confirmed.
