Indira Gandhi National Open University is an open University present in each and every state of India. One of its largest Regional center is present in the Capital of Jharkhand i.e Ranchi.

To share the burden of the regional center Ranchi, the deoghar of the regional center was set up in 2011. The center started in 2000 with 11 learner support centers with about 8000 students, has received 50 LSCs with an enrollment of 47000 due to the growing popularity and enrollment of IGNOU programs in the state, RC Deoghar was carved from this regional center in 2011 under which districts were districts.
In addition to providing quality education to a large number of people in the region. Ranchi Regional Center launches a special diploma for them and takes huge steps to train 67,000 students.
IGNOU RC Ranchi covers 17 districts of Jharkhand. RC Ranchi also provides its services to remote areas in tribal villages also via its network of study centers and LSCs. Eligibility criteria:
> Admitted candidates must have graduated in any subject with a minimum of 50% marks for the general category and must also pass the Open Mat examination conducted by IGNOU. The institute offers MBA as a general subject and under the specialization of Banking and Finance.
> Eligibility for postgraduate in any department including 50 percent marks in the general department and 45 percent marks in reserved department or Supervisor, Managerial, Professional Experience or three-year Engineering, Technology, Medicine, Architecture, Law, Pharmacy or Accounting,Cost and Works Accountancy, Company Secretary, etc.
> If you want to take admission in, then you can check their website, normally they open their admission process in the month of January and July. If you want to apply for admission to IGNOU program, they need to submit these documents- academic records, category certificate for sc, st, obc, age proof, an application form can be obtained from Regional Center or IGNOU Headquarters. Copy of ID card of the educational certificate.
