The Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy course is an undergraduate language course in Philosophy that is designed to prepare students to understand topics like Metaethics, Indian Philosophical System, Ethics, Morality, Epistemology, and Religion.
This program is also offered by the Indira Gandhi National Open University and this course covers a wide range of syllabus from Contemporary Indian Philosophical systems to Religions to Ethics and also Epistemology.

IGNOU B.A. Philosophy Exam Structure
For admission and completion of a BA Philosophy degree from IGNOU, every student has to get at least 96 credits in a minimum of 3 years in maximum 6 years where 32 credits per year are minimum.
To complete these credits, students have to choose courses from three categories these are foundation course, elective courses and application-oriented courses.

Only for B.Sc. students. CHE1, CHE 2 and CHE 3(L) are pre-requisite for this course, however, this is not a compulsory directive. B.A./ B.Com/BTS students advised not to opt for this AOC.
