IGNOU has announced the admission to their Master Of Computer Application or MCA course for January 2021 session. The admission to the MCA Programme of IGNOU is offered twice in a year in the cycle of January and July. There will be 2 semesters per year as this is a 2-year long course and consequently there be two exams each year. So, there will be 4 semesters and 4 Term End Exams for IGNOU MCA. you can appear for the semester exams whenever you want to after filling the term end examination form that is TEE form.

The total fees of IGNOU MCA programme/Course is ₹ 48000/- for all 4 Semesters. However the total fees per semester of IGNOU MCA Programme is ₹ 12000 per Semester.
If you are non-maths students, You have to pay an additional fee of Rs. 1,400 for BCS-012 course.

Note:- IGNOU MCA Course duration & Fees has been revised. Duration is changed from 3 years to 2 years and fees is reduced from 72000 to 48000.
For the eligibility criteria you will need to have any Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognized university. You also need Maths as one of the subject at 10 + 2 level or graduation level at least, Else you will have to pursue a BCS – 012 course that is taught along with ignou MCA in case you don’t have mathematics in graduation or at school level.

First of all download the information brochure for that year and read it carefully. In each admission cycle, IGNOU releases its information brochure from where you can check your eligibility for the program before you start filling up the application form for the MCA.
Once you have to ensure that you fall in the eligibility criteria, Then go on the IGNOU website and click on the button of a new registration or register yourself.
The next page will ask you a lot of details about your address education qualifications and the course you want to enroll in.

Once you register yourself you will receive a registration number or Control number or enrolment number which you should write down somewhere and save it with you or an application number after this feeling the magnetic information that is required for the application and then click on the submit button.
You will receive your username for the IGNOU web page through email and SMS to make sure filling up the right email address and mobile number.
When you go to the brochure you can find the list of required documents and images that you will have to upload along with their dimensions so make sure your having the right PDF to upload and the images of right dimensions.

Once you fill up everything and then pay the application fee which can be done through debit card or credit card or net banking you should save the IGNOU MCA form for future reference.
After you have uploaded the details and pay the fees wait until you admission is confirmed. you might be asked to upload a document again and meet again in case it does not fit the dimensions or the images are not clear.
