The IGNOU Guwahati Regional Center was set up in 1996 with a total of 6 study centres and 35 programmes with approximately about 1100 learners. And in over the years, the IGNOU Regional Centre Guwahati has improved its presence and is now at 30 learner support centres, 525 academic counsellors and 78 academic programmes on offer.
IGNOU Regional Center of Guwahati provides various courses and supports to students. If you want to pursue a degree or diploma from distance mode and is a resident near guwahati than you should enroll in the Indira Gandhi National Open University’s regional center at Guwahati as all its courses are in the distance learning mode. This means that once you have applied and your admissions accepted you will receive the study material at your home anywhere in Assam and you only have to submit assignments and go for the semester exams or Term End Exams (TEE) as IGNOU calls it.

Master’s Degree – Economics, English, Hindi, History, Political Science, Business Administration etc.
