IGNOU Regional Center Srinagar Contact, Address, Study Centers and All Details

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Srinagar Regional Center has been established in 1999 and its main goal was to provide proper and higher education to the people of Kashmir along with the masses of Kargil and Leh. The functioning of the IGNOU Srinagar Regional Center has started from the University of Kashmir campus with authorization over the district of Leh, Kargil, Ladakh, and Kashmir with four centers of study including thousands of learners and 14 different programs.

Since then, the Regional Center has been well established, and just in 19 years of its establishment, there was an enrollment of 3 lakh members. Thus, emerging one of the magnificent IGNOU Regional Center all over the country. In the present time, there are 43 support centers for the learners which consists of 15 Program Study Centers, 21 Regular Study Centers, and 7 Specific Study Centers. In their authority and jurisdiction, the IGNOU Srinagar Regional Center has built up Learners Support Centers at different districts. By establishing Learner Support Center IGNOU is trying to reach the unreached places of block-level and subdivision.

IGNOU RC Srinagar Study Centers List

IGNOU RC Srinagar has 47 Learner Support Centres, comprising 21 Regular Study Centres (RSCs), 15 Programme Study Centres (PSCs) and 7 Special Study Centres (SSCs). It coveres major part of Jammu and Kashmir like Badgam, Anantnag & Pulwama etc.
