How to check IGNOU admission status 2020 online?

After you have submitted the application forms you must be waiting for your admission status in the desired IGNOU program. You can check the admission status of your program from the official website in two ways. First, you can check the status of admission through the enrollment number. And secondly, you can search by name option that is available under the admission tab. Here is a step-by-step process to check your admission status through both the process.

Search Through Enrollment Number

If you have applied in ignou you would have got a “Enrollment Number”  you can check the admission status through Enrollment Number and here is a step-by-step process to follow.

1. Go to the official website of IGNOU under Admission Status Click on the Know your Status Option. To Visit directly CLICK HERE
2. You will see a window like the image shown in below.
   
   
3. Enter your Enrollment number mentioned in form that you received while filling up your admission form.
4. Select Your Programme and fill the captcha code.
5. Click on Submit to know your admission Status.
   
6. Your admission status will be in front of you.

just in case if you do not recall your control number while filling up the admission form you can check the admission status through this process.

1. Log in to the official IGNOU admission website by your username and password.
   CLICK HERE TO LOGIN
2. Fill the Secure code (Captcha) and Click on Login.
   
   
3. You can directly see your admission status but if you are not able to see than you can find your Enrollment number from Print Application form section.
4. If you find your Enrollment number you can easily check your status from previous mentioned steps.

What after the IGNOU Admission Status shows ‘Approved’?

Once Your IGNOU Admission gets approved you can download your Ignou ID Card.
Once the candidates’ application form is approved by the university, the admission status will show ‘approved’. You will also receive this confirmation on your registered mobile number.

As the academic session commences, candidates whose applications have been approved will be able to start with their studies and assignments related to the course they are studying. If you have opted for offline study material then you will also receive your study material by post.
