What after BSc Nursing Result?
If you have qualified and clear the IGNOU BSc Nursing Post Basic exam then you are eligible to appear for counselling process. IGNOU has also notified that a region-wise merit list or rank will be uploaded soon on the IGNOU website which you can check once it’s available.

What in case of Tie in OpenNet?
If you have scored the same masses in the merit list then the following criteria as followed as per the IGNOU Rules –
- Length of relevant experience – this is counted for both the candidates which are counted after registration as RNRM till the last date of receipt of the application by the University.
- Overall marks in GNM examination – if the tie is not resolved in the previous stage where Length of relevant experience is counted then the aggregate marks of GNM in all three years will be considered for calculating the merit.
- Date of Birth – if the tie is not resolved in this stage then the date of birth is considered where candidate born earlier will have a higher rank than those born later.
- The draw of Lot – the last stage is to draw a lot and then the rank is decided.
