How to Get IGNOU Original Marksheet and Provisional Certificate

Online process to Get you mark sheet and provisional certificate

The process for obtaining your mark sheet and provisional certificate from the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is largely automated. Here’s what you need to know:

Automatic Processing and Delivery

Once your results are declared, IGNOU initiates an automated process to prepare and dispatch your marksheet and certificate. Generally, it takes about 40 days for these documents to be delivered to your registered address. However, the exact time frame can vary from student to student.

Variability in Delivery Times

It’s important to note that delivery times are not uniform for all students. You might find that your friend receives their documents sooner than you do. This variation is normal and does not necessarily indicate a problem with your delivery.

Tracking Your Documents

To monitor the status of your marksheet and certificate delivery, IGNOU provides a tracking facility. You can access this service through the following link: https://gradecard.ignou.ac.in/gradecard/

Update Your Address

Ensure that your address is accurate and complete. An incorrect or incomplete address is a common reason for failed deliveries. You can update your address through the IGNOU student portal or by contacting the relevant department.

Offline process to Get you mark sheet and provisional certificate

Step 2: From Saket Metro Station to IGNOU

  • Exit the Metro: Leave the Saket Metro Station through Gate No. 1.

  • Entry Register: Once at the IGNOU gate, provide your details in the entry register.
  • Directions to Block 12: The guard will direct you to Block 12, which is located at the end of a long hallway.

  • Finding Room No. 11: In Block 12, locate Room No. 11.
  • Interaction in Room No. 11: Inside Room No. 11, you need to meet the staff member and he will ask your details after that you receive your marksheet and provisional certificate within approximately 10 minutes.

By following these guidelines, you can efficiently navigate your way to IGNOU and handle the process of collecting your important documents with minimal stress.
